John Bailey Institute isAviation|Innovation|Excellence
An aviation institute, extended into autonomy. Global consulting and education since 2001.

Workforce Development
Professional UAS training. Structured courses, live virtual classroom, and FAA Part 107 certification readiness.
Explore→02Research
The Institute for Physical AI. Machines that see, predict and act, taught and built on real hardware.
Explore→03Consulting
Program development, regulatory compliance and operational readiness for agencies and enterprises.
Explore→Where flight is going
The next aircraft will fly themselves. Someone has to build the people who build them.
2016
Part 107
The rule that made commercial flight a certificate rather than a career-length apprenticeship. The industry it opened is still being staffed.
2026
Artemis II
Victor Glover flew around the Moon in April. The frontier moved this year, and the people who will work there are in school now.
25
Years running
Founded 2001. The institute has been building the aviation workforce since before the drone industry existed.

Why it matters
Aviation has never opened on its own. Every door was pushed.
In 1921 Bessie Coleman had to leave the country to be taught. In 1938 the first Black-owned flight school in America opened because nobody else would open one. In 2016 a written exam replaced a hundred hours of instruction, and the cost of entering professional aviation fell further in a day than it had in the previous century.
The institute exists in that pattern. We train people into the aviation system that is arriving, not the one that is leaving.
FAA Part 107 certification
Remote pilot training and the operating knowledge behind the certificate.
Air traffic control and airport management
The professions that run the airspace and the field.
Avionics and unmanned systems
What is inside the airframe, and the aircraft that fly without a cockpit.
Physical AI research
Perception, simulation and control, on real hardware and real airframes.
